Through the capitalization on innovative design and advanced technological strategies we aim to foster a sustainable relationship with its natural & urban context. We create places that are designed around people allowing them to flourish,

interact and grow. In short, places where people feel they belong. We have established a 3 step design approach to secure an urban solution that is socially sustainable.

 

PROCESS

We believe the first step in achieving a socially sustainable community is to involve all stakeholders through a facilitated Collaborative Planning Process. This process aims to engage and activate all stakeholders and establish a feeling of ownership and responsibility for the development. We aim to gather information, set parameters and establish a colla-borative vision. This stage allows for the development of a platform that will set the initial design parameters for the project.   

 

PLACES

The second step is to create places that encourage interaction and foster economic and personal growth. We believe four design principles form the basic parameters for a sustain-able design approach: Nurturing and Promoting the Identity of the Place, Creating a balanced community, Promoting connectivity & Mobility, Establishing a vibrant and creative community.

 

PEOPLE

We believe the final step in achieving social sustainability is implemen-tation and governance. It is important that effective management

structures are set up which involve local residents to engender a sense of ownership and secure long term success. We aim to assist in establishing these urban taskforces and guide them taking a lead role in managing their own urban environment
